How to Install Minecraft Bedrock Addons

Every addon, map and texture pack on FleetMc Studio comes as an .mcaddon, .mcpack or .mcworld file. Here is how to install it on each platform.

📱 Android
  1. Tap the "Get Resource" button on the addon page and download the .mcaddon or .mcpack file.
  2. If the file opens Minecraft automatically, you are done. If not, you will need a file manager app, ZArchiver works well and is free on the Play Store.
  3. Open ZArchiver (or your file manager), find the downloaded file, tap it and choose "Open with other app".
  4. Select Minecraft from the list. It will import the pack automatically.
  5. Open Minecraft, create or edit a world, go to Behavior Packs or Resource Packs, and activate the pack you just imported.
If the file downloaded as a .zip instead of .mcaddon, rename the extension from .zip to .mcaddon before opening it.
🌐 iOS (iPhone / iPad)
  1. Open the addon page in Safari. Other browsers on iOS often do not trigger the Minecraft import prompt correctly, so Safari is recommended.
  2. Tap "Get Resource" to download the file.
  3. When the download finishes, tap the download icon in Safari's toolbar, then tap the file.
  4. If Minecraft does not open automatically, tap the Share icon and choose "Copy to Minecraft" or "Open in Minecraft" from the list.
  5. Open Minecraft, go to your world settings, and activate the pack under Behavior Packs or Resource Packs.
💻 Windows
  1. Click "Get Resource" and download the .mcaddon or .mcpack file to your computer.
  2. Once downloaded, double click the file. Minecraft for Windows registers these file types, so it should open and import the pack automatically.
  3. If double clicking does not work, open Minecraft first, then double click the file again while Minecraft is running.
  4. Open or create a world, go to Behavior Packs or Resource Packs in the settings, and activate the pack.
Still stuck? Rename the file extension from .mcaddon to .zip, extract it, then manually copy the extracted folder into your com.mojang/behavior_packs or resource_packs folder.
